Experience

KV Soon has played pioneering roles in Asia’s leading e-commerce and supply chain organisations and has led several innovative IT organisations across the region. His notable appointments include ECnet Inc, TradeNex.com, and Programme Director of the Mauritius National Identity Scheme (MNIS), where he oversaw IT review, development, and national policy implementation. He also directed a dengue prevention programme initiated by the Malaysia Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and advised the healthcare industry on Artificial Intelligence and disease prediction. His international experience spans Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Sudan, Mauritius, and Fiji, where he has helped organisations implement digital technologies, manage transformation programs, and establish regional operations. Currently, he serves as Technical Advisor for the World Bank and Programme Director of the Fijian Government Digital Transformation Programme.
